We are currently seeking a Big Data DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us continue providing the best liquidity on the market.
Key outcomes
- Manage, deploy, and optimize big data storage and processing components, including Hadoop, Elasticsearch, HBase, Kafka, and Hive.
- Guarantee the stability and availability of both real-time and batch data services by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Provide technical support to various business units and participate in the technical evaluation process.
- Create automated tools and workflows to improve our overall operational efficiency.
- Design and maintain scalable storage architectures that prioritize high performance and a seamless user experience.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with big data ecosystems such as Hadoop, Elasticsearch, HBase, Hive, Kafka, Zookeeper, or Yarn.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, including scripting for daily operations and experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or SaltStack.
- Expertise in at least one programming language, such as Python, Golang, or Java.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS, GCP, or Alibaba Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a proactive approach to 24/7 on-call support when necessary.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, including Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD.
- Experience with monitoring systems such as Prometheus and Grafana, or logging stacks like ELK and Loki.
- Understanding of caching solutions like Redis and various SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Background in security or blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.
