Are you ready to play a hands-on role in supporting the people behind one of the most advanced AI cloud platforms in the world? At Crusoe, we design and operate purpose-built data centers that power cutting-edge AI workloads for Fortune 500 companies, all while running on clean, renewable energy. We are looking for a seasoned Benefits Specialist to join us on a temporary basis and keep our benefits programs running smoothly while our Benefits Manager is on maternity leave.
What you bring
We need a Senior Benefits Specialist for a Temporary, on-site position in the United States. Your background should include deep experience in benefits administration and leave management, along with familiarity using HRIS platforms such as Rippling and Tilt. You will oversee medical and parental leave requests, manage ADA accommodation processes, support open enrollment, and handle workers’ compensation administration when needed. Three key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, and multi-state leave laws, coordinating benefits enrollments and changes across carriers, and producing ad hoc reports and data reconciliations for audits. The role is based in the United States and requires on-site collaboration with HR, payroll, and external vendors.
Requirements
You bring at least five years of hands-on benefits administration experience, with a strong emphasis on leave management and accommodations. You are fluent in English and comfortable interpreting FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave statutes, especially in Colorado and California. Proficiency with HRIS and benefits tools, particularly Rippling and Tilt, is highly valued, as is prior broker-side experience. The ideal candidate combines meticulous attention to detail with the ability to safeguard confidential information, communicates clearly with employees at all levels, and thrives in a collaborative environment that may also involve workers’ compensation claims tracking.
What we offer
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $50-$70 per hour, determined by the applicant’s knowledge, education, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Crusoe is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, disability, genetic information, pregnancy, citizenship, marital status, sex/gender, sexual preference/orientation, gender identity, age, veteran status, national origin, or any other status protected by law or regulation.
How to Apply
If this temporary opportunity to support a mission-driven team at the forefront of sustainable AI infrastructure sounds like the right fit, we encourage you to apply and help us keep delivering exceptional employee experiences while our Benefits Manager is away.
