What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Business Control Officer to join our Global Bank Account team in Mexico City on a full-time, hybrid basis. In this role, you will act as a vital partner to our business units, ensuring that we maintain a proactive approach to risk management while continuing to innovate at pace. Your work will be essential in fostering a culture where every team member feels empowered to act as a risk leader. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating first-line risk management activities, such as incident management, operational losses, and regulatory compliance.
• Developing effective governance structures that remain agile and avoid unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Conducting process mapping and documentation to ensure clarity and mitigate operational sensitivities.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should possess a strong background in product and non-financial risk management, specifically with a deep understanding of the Mexican regulatory environment. We are looking for a proactive professional who can challenge the status quo and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You should be an independent thinker who is comfortable navigating complex risk landscapes and challenging different lines of defense. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, as is a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a genuine desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
