We invite you to join our world-class team of scientists and engineers as we push the boundaries of what is possible in energy storage.

What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Battery Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis at our facility in Billerica, Massachusetts. In this role, you will focus on the development of large-format lithium-ion cells for next-generation electric vehicle applications. You will be a key contributor to our product design and process development efforts, ensuring our technology meets the highest standards of quality and performance. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design, validation, and analysis of next-generation lithium-ion pouch cells.
  • Developing and optimizing fabrication processes at the pilot scale to ensure superior product quality.
  • Providing technical support to project teams and collaborating directly with customers and suppliers to resolve complex engineering challenges.

To succeed in this position, you should have a strong background in materials science, chemical engineering, or a related field, supported by a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. We are looking for candidates with at least five years of industrial experience in lithium-ion battery development specifically for EV applications. You must be proficient in pilot-scale cell fabrication processes and have a proven track record of managing successful development projects. Beyond your technical expertise, we value excellent communication skills and the ability to foster strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and customers. We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the technical excellence required to navigate complex project management tasks.

What we offer

We are committed to supporting our employees with a comprehensive benefits package designed to provide security and peace of mind. Our team members enjoy the following perks:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Generous paid time off.
  • A 401k plan with employer matching.
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance.
