What you'll be doing
- Design, build, and maintain the services required to ingest and store data from various content and social platform APIs.
- Partner with our Data Analytics team to define technical requirements and implement new feature requests.
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure within our AWS environment to support our data products.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a Senior Backend/Data Engineer who is pragmatic and passionate about innovation. To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Extensive experience with Python, PostgreSQL, Flask, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
- Strong proficiency in provisioning and maintaining AWS Services.
- Deep knowledge of API integration, web development, and Docker for containerized deployments.
- The ability to write secure, well-documented code and maintain high standards for database efficiency and error handling.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive while working independently or as part of a cross-functional team.
- Fluency in English.
