What is this role?

We are searching for a Backend Tech Lead to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a lead-level position based in Mexico, and we operate with a hybrid work model. You will be a vital part of our dynamic tech team, focusing on the development and implementation of microservices that directly impact our clients' success.

What will you do?

• Take the lead on developing, testing, and maintaining our applications and services using Golang while ensuring we follow the best coding practices.
• Design and oversee the software architecture for new services to ensure they remain scalable, secure, and easy to maintain.
• Drive performance improvements across our existing systems through proactive code refactoring and optimization.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in backend development and a passion for leadership. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer, with at least 2 years spent in a leadership capacity.
• Deep expertise in Golang and a solid understanding of software architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs, gRPC, and other integration protocols.
• Proven ability to implement and manage automated testing to maintain high software quality.
• Strong communication skills in English, allowing you to collaborate effectively across our diverse, multidisciplinary team.
