Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Backend Specialist Engineer to join our Product Technology team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Brazil, requiring you to be available to work from our São Paulo headquarters one week per month.

Your impact

• Provide high-level technical leadership across your tribe, ensuring that squad decisions remain aligned with our broader company strategy.
• Act as a technical mentor by pairing with developers, reviewing code, and supporting the implementation of complex solutions.
• Proactively identify technical bottlenecks and system risks to diagnose and resolve issues before they escalate into major incidents.

What you'll need

You should be a proactive problem solver with a strong background in technical documentation and a passion for code quality. We are looking for someone who speaks Portuguese and brings the following technical expertise:

• Deep experience with Golang and Kubernetes, including operators and APIs.
• Practical knowledge of AWS infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, and kapp.
• Experience using GitHub Actions, Backstage, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry.
• Relevant AWS certifications.
• A collaborative mindset with experience in pair programming and code review.
