Role at a glance

We are seeking a Lead Backend Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, meaning you can contribute from anywhere. You will be responsible for leading a team of 5 to 10 engineers while driving the architecture and design of our high-performance platforms.

Your impact

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, helping them grow their careers while fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy critical services that maintain our high standards for scalability and reliability.
Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and prototyping cutting-edge solutions to keep our platform at the forefront of the industry.

What you'll need

Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with proficiency in Go or C++.
Proven experience in building and managing distributed systems at scale.
Strong background in cloud services, specifically AWS, and experience working with Redis, MySQL, or Postgres.
Familiarity with REST and gRPC APIs, as well as a commitment to test automation and modern engineering best practices.
Excellent communication skills in English and a track record of leading software projects from ideation to production.

Perks and compensation

We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $180,000 to $230,000, supplemented by a performance-based bonus and stock options. Our benefits package includes:
