We are Capital Markets Gateway, a financial technology company that connects investors and underwriters on a neutral platform for equity capital markets. Our systems give nearly 150 buy-side firms and 20 global investment banks transparent, real-time access to deal flow and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs with .NET 9, ASP.NET Core, and GraphQL.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA to deliver new features and keep data flowing reliably across the platform.
- Write clean, well-tested code and strengthen automated testing using xUnit.net, Moq, and FluentAssertions.
- Take part in architecture discussions, prototyping, documentation, and technical decision-making.
- Use Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, RabbitMQ, and PostgreSQL to improve performance and reliability.
- Monitor and tune applications with DataDog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Microsoft Azure services.
- Contribute to a strong engineering culture through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Must-haves
- Five or more years of professional software engineering experience, including at least three years with C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Proven ability to write high-quality, well-tested code and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills plus clear written and verbal communication.
- Comfort working in ambiguous situations and learning new technologies quickly.
- English proficiency at C1 or C2 level.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in financial technology or capital markets.
- Familiarity with Entity Framework, MassTransit, Hangfire, Hot Chocolate, Istio, or Swashbuckle.
