Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position based in our office in Limassol, Cyprus. You will play a key role in developing our internal platforms, including secure messaging tools and corporate portals, while maintaining the high standards of performance and security that our global operations demand.

Your impact

• Take full ownership of designing and delivering complex backend features that meet our high standards for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Drive architectural discussions and technical improvements across the department, focusing on service latency, fault tolerance, and the reduction of technical debt.
• Actively participate in code reviews and mentor team members to foster a culture of clean code, rigorous testing, and continuous professional growth.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you should be a seasoned engineer who thrives in high-load environments. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of backend development experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically using Golang.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, database architecture, and working with ORMs.
• Deep experience with DevOps practices, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to build and maintain microservices in high-concurrency, high-load systems.
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
• A solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and system design principles.
• Professional proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
