What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This is a full-time, hybrid position, and we ask that you be able to come into our office at least 1 to 2 times per week. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of relevant engineering experience who is ready to take ownership of complex technical challenges.

What will you do?

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure we capture new information reliably while meeting our service level agreements.
• Design and manage API endpoints for external developers, ensuring they are user-friendly and deliver clear business value.
• Integrate with third-party APIs from platforms like Meta, Google, and TikTok to ingest data, focusing on building resilient solutions that handle errors gracefully.

You are a seasoned engineer who cares deeply about writing high-quality, well-tested code. You enjoy collaborating closely with product teams to understand the business context behind the features you build. We value people who are curious, love experimenting with new technologies, and are eager to contribute their voices to discussions on UX, design, and overall product strategy. Proficiency in English is required, and while a Computer Science degree is a plus, it is not a requirement. Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
