What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Experiences team on a full-time, on-site basis in Italy. This position is perfect for an experienced developer who is passionate about creating robust, high-performance systems and wants to contribute to a mission-driven fintech company.

What will you do?

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality REST APIs and GraphQL services using NestJS and TypeScript to power our user experience.
• Ensure the security and compliance of our payment systems by implementing JWT, OAuth2, and rigorous data protection measures.
• Manage our backend infrastructure on AWS while optimizing MySQL database performance and maintaining efficient containerized workflows using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development, with 3+ years specifically using NestJS and TypeScript.
• Deep expertise in MySQL database design and optimization.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• A strong background in REST API and GraphQL development, including a solid understanding of security best practices like authentication and authorization.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• A collaborative mindset, as you will be working closely with a team of tech leaders in an agile environment.
