The opportunity

We are searching for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be a core contributor to our platform, directly influencing our product roadmap and ensuring the stability and performance of the services our users rely on every day. You will work in a fully remote environment, collaborating with a team that values technical excellence and innovation. We operate within the UTC ± 2 hours timezone to keep our collaboration seamless.

A day in the life

• You will design and implement robust, scalable backend systems and APIs that power our core infrastructure.
• You will develop and maintain our microservices architecture, ensuring that our systems remain highly available and fault-tolerant.
• You will collaborate closely with our DevOps and front-end teams to optimize database performance and participate in thoughtful code reviews.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least three years of experience in backend development. You communicate clearly in English and possess a strong ability to solve complex technical problems. Your toolkit includes proficiency in Go, Python, or Node.js, alongside a deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases. You are comfortable working with RESTful APIs and microservices. It is a bonus if you have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud providers like AWS, as well as a history of contributing to open-source projects.
