What you bring
We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time hybrid basis. You will work with our Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Account Verification teams in Barcelona, contributing to the development of our SaaS platform that verifies millions of identities for banks, neobanks, brokers, crypto exchanges, and insurers. Your three main responsibilities will be designing and maintaining microservices with thorough testing and reliable deployments, managing your own tasks and priorities while sharing ownership of sprint goals with teammates, and participating in architectural decisions to drive engineering excellence. The role is based in Spain.
Requirements
You bring at least three years of professional software development experience and have solid knowledge of .NET 5-8 or .NET Core 3.x along with strong proficiency in C# version 10 or later. You are comfortable writing unit and integration tests using XUnit, working with ORMs such as EF Core and LINQ, and building REST APIs with .NET Web API. Familiarity with SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design, and common software design patterns is important, as is hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, particularly EKS and Terraform, is highly valued. You are fluent in English at a full professional level and are able to work on-site in our Barcelona office at least three days per week under our hybrid policy.
