About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will help us build breakthrough software medical devices that have a tangible impact on patient lives. You will work within cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge solutions, utilizing strong design principles and taking ownership of greenfield projects as we continue to innovate from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, testers, and fellow developers in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software products.
• Lead the development of features from the initial technical design phase through to final launch.
• Support our testing efforts by building the necessary infrastructure to facilitate robust automated testing.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or an equivalent field, paired with 4 to 8 years of experience in complex application software development.
• Proficiency in backend development using Python and Node.js.
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs with frameworks such as Express or FastAPI.
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Docker for building and running containerized applications.
• Strong skills in SQL and database design, along with a solid understanding of design patterns.
• Comfortable navigating the ambiguity often found in greenfield projects and possessing strong analytical problem-solving abilities.

Location

This position is based in India. We operate on a hybrid work model, so you should be willing to travel to the office based on specific project requirements or team agendas.
