We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our team as we continue to refine our infrastructure and transition more automated strategies onto our platform. What you bring

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in our full-time hybrid team based in Dorado, Puerto Rico. You will focus on building robust back-end applications and integrating external services into our existing framework. Your daily work will involve the following core responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing high-performance APIs using Python and C# to power our trading applications.
• Collaborating closely with our traders and fellow engineers to develop and optimize the tools necessary for automated trading.
• Building and maintaining stable, efficient, and reusable microservices while automating repetitive trading processes.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is fluent in English and brings at least three years of professional experience with object-oriented programming languages like C# or Python. You should be comfortable working in an Agile environment and possess hands-on experience with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS. A strong candidate will have a solid grasp of database interactions and API connectivity, including REST and socket-based technologies. We value individuals who approach complex problems with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. While not strictly required, familiarity with equity trading, DevOps practices, and data-processing systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ will certainly help you succeed in this role.
