Role at a glance
We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Software Engineer to join our growing engineering department in Bellevue, WA. This is a full-time position that operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring you to be in the office three days per week. You will be instrumental in maintaining our backend infrastructure while working alongside cross-functional partners to ensure our products remain at the cutting edge of the ad-tech space.
Your impact
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services that are both scalable and reliable.
- Ensure technical excellence by conducting thorough code reviews and writing clean, well-tested code that follows industry best practices.
- Take an active role in system health by troubleshooting production issues and participating in a rotating pager duty schedule.
What you'll need
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of professional backend development experience, with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to Node.js.
- Solid proficiency in Linux environments, MySQL or PostgreSQL databases, and Git for version control.
- A strong grasp of service-oriented architecture and the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative spirit.
