We are Findigs, and we are on a mission to make the rental process fairer, more convenient, and stress-free for everyone. By building digital tools that simplify how people apply for and secure their next home, we empower property managers across the country to provide exceptional service with unmatched speed. We are currently looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis. In this role, you will help us transform the fundamentals of the rental industry by building scalable software solutions and managing complex integrations that drive our platform forward.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust software that connects large, interconnected systems while ensuring seamless data access and event orchestration.
Enhance our overall code quality by writing comprehensive unit tests, implementing automation, and conducting thorough code reviews.
Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to translate end-user requirements into pragmatic, effective technical solutions.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience from a bootcamp or professional background.
At least 3 years of experience in backend or full-stack development.
Proficiency in at least two backend languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, or TypeScript.
Strong experience with REST API integrations, relational databases, and monitoring tools like Datadog or New Relic.
A solid understanding of continuous delivery methodologies and a commitment to testing best practices.
The ability to work independently and solve complex technical problems with a bias for action.
