The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our full-time team in Singapore. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of your workstreams, helping us solve real-world challenges in travel planning and booking. You will be an integral part of our growth, working in a hybrid environment where your technical expertise will directly shape our products and culture. We value engineers who are not just coders, but problem solvers who want to build scalable, high-quality systems that delight our users.

A day in the life

• You will collaborate with a multi-skilled team to design and architect innovative backend services using Python, Flask, and PostgreSQL.
• You will champion software quality by implementing best practices in security, scalability, and testability, while deploying your own code through CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
• You will partner closely with product managers and designers to translate ideas into reality, using GraphQL and other modern tools to deliver seamless user experiences.

Who you are

You are an experienced engineer with three to five or more years of hands-on development expertise. You are comfortable working in an Agile environment and have a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures. You communicate clearly in English, and you thrive in collaborative settings where you can share knowledge through pair programming and code reviews. You have a security-conscious mindset and a passion for building maintainable, high-performance software. While not required, experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or a background in the travel industry is a wonderful bonus.
