We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team and help evolve our integration platform. Digibee is an innovative iPaaS provider that helps developers scale workflows and reduce technical debt through a powerful low-code interface, and following our 60 million dollar Series B funding round, we are focused on expanding our impact across the Americas.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on architectural decisions to ensure our platform remains efficient and scalable.
Write clean, secure, and sustainable code to enhance our core integration features.
Mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Contribute innovative ideas to our product roadmap and long-term technical strategy.
Conduct thorough peer code reviews to maintain high standards of quality across our codebase.

Must-haves

At least 7 years of professional experience in Java development.
Practical knowledge of Spring or Quarkus frameworks.
Strong background in cloud computing, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
Experience building distributed systems using microservices, messaging, and streaming architectures.
Proficiency with both NoSQL databases like MongoDB and ElasticSearch, and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Experience with observability practices, including metrics, logging, and tracing.
Familiarity with DevOps principles, Git version control, and agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
Strong communication skills in English.

Nice-to-haves

Experience working with the Go programming language.
Background in building platforms capable of processing high volumes of data.
Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Logstash, or Fluentbit.
