What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join us on a full-time, remote basis. You will play a pivotal role in our engineering efforts, utilizing technologies like Python, Postgres, Kubernetes, Azure, and Terraform to build scalable solutions. Your work will directly impact how the world manages green energy.

• Develop, test, and deploy new functionality for our platform, focusing on complex optimization problems and financial risk management.
• Collaborate closely with product teams and colleagues across the organization to define and shape new features.
• Contribute to our team culture by improving our internal processes and engineering best practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset and a desire to work with high-level languages like Python. We value candidates who have roughly 3 to 6 years of professional experience and are comfortable moving quickly while maintaining high standards for software quality. You should have a solid grasp of REST APIs and data manipulation, and any prior experience in energy markets or financial systems is a significant advantage. We require fluency in English and look for individuals who are excellent communicators with a collaborative spirit. What we offer
