What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in the United Kingdom, you will work in a hybrid capacity to help us maintain our rapid growth trajectory. In this role, you will be a key player in our engineering department, focusing on the following responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and test new features, experiments, and user flows to enhance our platforms.
• Partner closely with our product and design teams to prototype new ideas and clarify technical requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert by maintaining our codebase, applying SOLID principles, and mentoring fellow engineers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in Java and the JVM ecosystem, including Spring Boot and JPA. We value candidates who have a solid grasp of backend architecture and design. You should hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. We are looking for someone with a pragmatic mindset who thrives in an Agile environment, is comfortable navigating ambiguity, and possesses the communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
