Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position based in our Vilnius office, where we believe working together in person fuels the innovation and collaboration needed to transform the food industry.
Your impact
- Lead and contribute to large-scale, cross-functional projects that directly drive our business success and product quality.
- Take full ownership of features and systems, ensuring long-term health and prioritizing scalability in every technical design.
- Collaborate with our operations and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues while maintaining high standards for performance.
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of professional experience building and operating complex systems using languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and a proven ability to make sound technical architecture decisions.
- A solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and threading.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders like designers and product managers.
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, plus a genuine passion for great food.
