About the Role

We are searching for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Money Platform team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be a key player in building and scaling our core financial technology infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with our product engineering and business operations teams to create a robust money-moving backend that is reliable and efficient. This position offers significant growth potential, with opportunities to evolve into engineering management or Principal Engineer roles as we continue to scale our mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain our core ledger systems while ensuring the stability of our internal treasury management APIs.
• Build and manage integrations with various payment processors to ensure seamless transaction flows.
• Establish sustainable best practices for DevOps and FinOps, including the implementation of monitoring and analytics to minimize errors and optimize performance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in software development at scale, with a strong background in FinTech, payments, or complex financial systems.
• Proficiency in Go and SQL, along with a data-driven mindset for solving technical challenges.
• Deep familiarity with modern cloud technologies, specifically GCP.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to thrive in an environment that requires high ownership and the ability to translate complex business needs into pragmatic technical solutions.
• A commitment to mentoring fellow engineers and championing practices that drive exponential growth and improve the user experience.
