The role
We’re adding a Backend Engineer to our team to build and scale our FinTech core. You'll work closely with business operations and the product engineering team to deliver a money mover backend that just works. The work will include automating ledger reconciliation systems, managing payment processor integrations and implementing our in-house banking core.
This is a high growth opportunity with the possibility of evolving Principal Engineer and engineering management responsibilities in the future.
As a software engineer, you'll have the opportunity to design, develop and operate Grid's most mission-critical systems at scale. Unlocking scale and getting our customers one step closer to financial freedom, your work "behind the scenes" will be at the forefront of Grid's ongoing success and growth.
The Tech Stack
Our tech stack is GCP, Go, protobufs and MySQL. We have native mobile apps, an event-driven architecture on the backend and data infrastructure for streaming analytics and ML. Despite a complex domain and data model, most new hires get productive on our stack within a couple days.
