We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer who is passionate about building robust tools and improving the reliability of the internet. What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers to design and develop cutting-edge Chaos Engineering tools.
- Analyze business requirements to propose effective technical solutions and navigate trade-offs in a remote-first environment.
- Mentor your teammates while maintaining a strong focus on high-quality delivery and the overall customer experience.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in distributed systems and a passion for engineering excellence. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience working with Java.
- Proficiency in Go and systems-level programming.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Lambda, and serverless architectures.
- Experience working with DynamoDB or other NoSQL and relational databases.
- Technical familiarity with infrastructure tools such as Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- A commitment to automated testing, CI/CD, and industry-standard engineering practices.
- Fluency in English.
