Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Backend Quality Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United Kingdom. You will play a pivotal role in our cloud-based microservices environment, ensuring our products remain top-tier while helping us accelerate our delivery speed.
Your impact
- You will guide developers on the best strategies for testing new features and help integrate automated tests directly into our CI/CD pipelines.
- You will take ownership of automating end-to-end test scenarios and work to improve the overall efficiency and coverage of our testing architecture.
- You will conduct thorough impact analyses to identify potential risks and develop new tools and processes to ensure our quality metrics are consistently met.
What you'll need
- At least 3 years of professional experience in quality engineering, specifically focused on testing and automating backend services.
- Strong proficiency in Golang or Ruby.
- Solid practical knowledge of AWS infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience with API automation.
- Sharp analytical abilities to evaluate the testability of deliverables and uncover the root causes of technical issues.
- Fluency in English.
