Backend Martech Engineer at Inkitt

With a hit rate 40 times higher than traditional publishers, we produce a new million-dollar ebook every four weeks and reach consumers directly through our Galatea app. Following our recent Series C funding from top-tier investors like Khosla, Kleiner Perkins, and NEA Ventures, we are expanding into new frontiers like GalateaTV to cement our position as a next-generation entertainment powerhouse. We are currently looking for a Lead Backend Martech Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis within the United States.

Key outcomes

• Design and scale advanced marketing technology systems that enable our teams to operate with speed and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with our growth, sales, and product departments to engineer creative solutions for campaign tracking, personalization, and automation.
• Take full ownership of our data flow and integration ecosystem to ensure it remains accurate, seamless, and high-performing.
• Proactively identify system gaps and implement optimizations to maintain peak performance.
• Conduct relentless experimentation and data analysis to deliver insights that significantly improve our return on investment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience working in Martech or a closely related field.
• Proven expertise with platforms such as Adjust, Branch, or Segment.
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and APIs for building scalable integrations.
• A data-driven mindset with the ability to translate complex information into informed business decisions.
• A scrappy, proactive approach to work that allows you to thrive in ambiguous environments and turn challenges into opportunities.
