We are currently looking for a talented Backend Golang Engineer to join our London-based team. In this role, you will help us design and build high-quality microservices while working within a collaborative environment that values your expertise and decision-making power.
What you'll be doing
- You will design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend microservices to support our diverse product lines.
- You will translate project requirements into clean, efficient code by utilizing automated testing and TDD principles.
- You will participate in continuous integration and delivery workflows to ensure our systems remain reliable, performant, and secure.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a mid-level engineer who is ready to take ownership of complex technical challenges. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in backend development, specifically with Golang.
- Strong proficiency in working with databases and object storage, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and S3.
- Practical experience with AWS infrastructure.
- A solid understanding of software development best practices, such as TDD, continuous delivery, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and data analysts.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or additional languages like Ruby.
