We are currently looking for a talented Backend Golang Engineer to join our London-based team. In this role, you will help us design and build high-quality microservices while working within a collaborative environment that values your expertise and decision-making power.

What you'll be doing

You will design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend microservices to support our diverse product lines.
You will translate project requirements into clean, efficient code by utilizing automated testing and TDD principles.
You will participate in continuous integration and delivery workflows to ensure our systems remain reliable, performant, and secure.

What you'll bring

We are looking for a mid-level engineer who is ready to take ownership of complex technical challenges. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

At least 3 years of professional experience in backend development, specifically with Golang.
Strong proficiency in working with databases and object storage, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and S3.
Practical experience with AWS infrastructure.
A solid understanding of software development best practices, such as TDD, continuous delivery, and agile methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and data analysts.
Bonus points if you have experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or additional languages like Ruby.
