Backend Engineer at Humansecurity

The role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Operational Excellence team in Israel. This is a full-time, hybrid position designed for an experienced professional who is passionate about building smarter, faster, and more efficient technology. You will play a critical role in scaling our detection and integration technologies to meet the complex challenges of modern cybersecurity.

Core responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-based, high-scale systems capable of processing massive datasets with maximum reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain end-to-end ownership of your projects, guiding them from the initial architectural design phase through to implementation, deployment, and long-term maintenance.
• Proactively monitor system performance and implement innovative optimizations to ensure our infrastructure stays ahead of emerging digital threats.

Skills and experience

• At least 4 years of professional experience in backend system design and implementation.
• Deep expertise in developing and maintaining robust cloud-based services.
• Advanced proficiency in multithreaded programming to manage high-load environments effectively.
• A solid foundation in object-oriented design principles for building modular and maintainable code.
• Strong architectural knowledge, specifically regarding the frameworks required for large-scale backend services.
• Fluency in English, combined with a collaborative mindset that thrives in cross-functional team environments.
