We are Level AI, a Series C startup founded in 2019 and based in Mountain View. Our mission is to transform how contact centers operate by turning them into strategic assets through our AI-native platform. By utilizing advanced Large Language Models, we provide organizations with the deep insights they need to improve customer experiences and fuel growth. We are currently looking for a Junior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in India. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experts from top-tier companies like Google, Amazon, and Facebook while contributing to high-impact projects that shape the future of enterprise AI.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of planning, executing, and maintaining products and features that will be used by millions of customers.
- Design and implement robust solutions, even when starting with broadly defined or ambiguous problems.
- Collaborate with your teammates to develop the architecture and design for both new and existing systems while driving engineering excellence.
Requirements
- You hold a B.E, B.Tech, M.E, or M.Tech degree from a tier 1 or 2 engineering institute and have relevant experience at a top technology firm.
- You have at least one year of backend development experience, with a strong preference for Python and Django proficiency.
- You possess a solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- You are comfortable working with REST APIs, ETL processes, Redis, Celery, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Any prior experience with machine learning, particularly in the context of NLP, is considered a plus.
