Backend Engineer at Cherrytechnologies

We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our collaborative team as we continue to grow.

What you'll be doing

• You will manage server-side web application logic and oversee the development and maintenance of our various microservices.
• You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless integration between our backend systems and the front-end user experience.
• You will contribute to the design and implementation of scalable software architectures that support our mission of making sales growth simple for our clients.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical foundation and a passion for building innovative solutions. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Expertise in object-oriented programming, specifically with Kotlin, along with a deep understanding of large-scale software architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with databases and search engines such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• A solid grasp of front-end technologies like JavaScript and HTML5.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Proficiency with version control tools like Git and a good understanding of unit testing and debugging.
