The role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the United States. You will be a key member of our small engineering team, focusing on the infrastructure that allows creators to upload, manage, and distribute their content across our platform.
Core responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable REST APIs using NodeJS.
- Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure within AWS.
- Collaborate directly with our frontend developers and product team to refine our content ecosystem and improve our internal engineering practices.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a passion for building reliable systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Professional proficiency in JavaScript and NodeJS.
- Practical experience working with SQL databases.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a small, fast-paced team.
- Fluency in English.
