Backend Engineer at Bigger Games

We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Turkey to help us scale our next generation of hits.

What you bring

As a key member of our engineering team, you will focus on the architecture and maintenance of large-scale backend systems that power our mobile games. You will be expected to leverage your expertise in Java, software architecture, and design patterns to solve complex problems while ensuring our platforms remain stable and efficient. Your daily contributions will include the following:

• Designing and maintaining scalable, low-latency backend services that support our game and platform features.
• Analyzing and optimizing system stability, performance, and overall efficiency.
• Collaborating with product managers, artists, and developers to ensure every detail of our games provides a top-tier experience for our users.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a strong foundation in software engineering and a genuine passion for the mobile gaming industry. You should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and bring at least five years of professional experience to the table. We value individuals who have a deep understanding of OOP and scalable systems, and who take pride in writing high-quality code. Proficiency in English is required to communicate effectively within our team, and you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is paramount.
