Bynder is a global leader in digital asset management, helping over 3,700 organizations like Spotify and Puma manage their content and creative workflows. We are looking for a mid-level Backend Engineer to join our international team of over 500 professionals and help us continue building scalable, high-performance solutions in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

Design and build robust, scalable applications using a microservices architecture.
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers to implement new features.
Act as an internal consultant by engaging with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Manage the full deployment lifecycle through CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across various team domains.
Maintain high standards for code quality, structure, and maintainability.
Work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented culture.

Must-haves

At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in Python and experience with server-side applications.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and containerization.
Familiarity with modern architectural patterns including Event Sourcing, CQRS, and Domain Driven Design.
Experience working with Kafka and Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of security practices and agile development workflows.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Nice-to-haves

Proficiency in Scala, including Akka and Cats.
Experience working with Java.
