Bynder is a global leader in digital asset management, helping over 3,700 organizations like Spotify and Puma manage their content and creative workflows. We are looking for a mid-level Backend Engineer to join our international team of over 500 professionals and help us continue building scalable, high-performance solutions in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and build robust, scalable applications using a microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers to implement new features.
- Act as an internal consultant by engaging with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage the full deployment lifecycle through CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across various team domains.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, structure, and maintainability.
- Work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with server-side applications.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and containerization.
- Familiarity with modern architectural patterns including Event Sourcing, CQRS, and Domain Driven Design.
- Experience working with Kafka and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of security practices and agile development workflows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Proficiency in Scala, including Akka and Cats.
- Experience working with Java.
