We have built a no-code environment that empowers users to design, test, and deploy sophisticated trading strategies without needing to write any code. As a venture-backed company, we are looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer to help us push the boundaries of automated finance from anywhere in the world.
What you'll be doing
- You will take ownership of designing and constructing essential components of our core infrastructure.
- You will collaborate directly with our executive leadership to shape our long-term technical architecture and strategy.
- You will be responsible for the maintenance and ongoing improvement of our high-performance trading and backtesting server systems.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in backend development and a passion for solving complex problems. We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills and qualities:
- Extensive professional experience as a backend engineer.
- A deep interest in Clojure and functional programming paradigms.
- Solid expertise in database design and experience working with cloud platforms, specifically GCP.
- Proven leadership abilities, including a desire to mentor and grow other engineers on the team.
- The ability to learn new concepts rapidly and make sound, educated decisions even when faced with ambiguity.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively with our global team.
