Movable Ink helps the world’s most innovative brands scale content personalization through AI decisioning and data-activated generation. With nearly 600 employees and a global presence, we empower marketers to boost agility and maximize revenue, and we are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team in Canada on a full-time, on-site basis.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure integration solutions that connect our platform with various third-party marketing technologies.
- Write robust, high-quality code to support our integration projects.
- Evaluate and implement new third-party solutions to improve our product's overall interoperability.
- Draft detailed technical documentation for all integrations to ensure clarity and ease of use.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues quickly to keep our clients' operations running smoothly.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Deep understanding of API design and data formats like JSON and XML.
- Experience working with REST, SOAP, and gRPC.
- Knowledge of security protocols and authentication mechanisms.
- Expertise in debugging and complex problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients.
- A commitment to software development best practices, including version control and documentation.
- Availability to attend our daily team stand-up meetings at 9:15 a.m. Eastern Time.
- A client-centric mindset and a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
