With nearly 600 employees and a global presence, we empower marketers to boost agility and maximize revenue, and we are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team in Canada on a full-time, on-site basis.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain secure integration solutions that connect our platform with various third-party marketing technologies.
Write robust, high-quality code to support our integration projects.
Evaluate and implement new third-party solutions to improve our product's overall interoperability.
Draft detailed technical documentation for all integrations to ensure clarity and ease of use.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues quickly to keep our clients' operations running smoothly.

Must-haves

At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in Python.
Deep understanding of API design and data formats like JSON and XML.
Experience working with REST, SOAP, and gRPC.
Knowledge of security protocols and authentication mechanisms.
Expertise in debugging and complex problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients.
A commitment to software development best practices, including version control and documentation.
Availability to attend our daily team stand-up meetings at 9:15 a.m. Eastern Time.
A client-centric mindset and a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
