Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Hungary, where you will help us build the foundational services that power the entire Craft platform. You will work closely with our Services team to design and implement the core architecture that our users rely on every day.

Your impact

• Design, plan, and implement robust services that bridge our web and mobile clients with our core data systems.
• Build highly performant and scalable APIs that serve as the backbone for the features our users love.
• Collaborate with our engineering team to manage cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring our systems remain reliable and secure.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should be comfortable working in English and possess a strong technical foundation in the following areas:

• Solid experience with data management and relational database architectures.
• A strong background in Cloud environments, including familiarity with PaaS, FaaS, and containerization, preferably on AWS.
• A commitment to CI/CD practices and a passion for writing testable, high-quality code.
• An analytical mindset with a deep interest in how distributed systems function at scale.
• While not required, familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, and infrastructure as code tools like AWS CloudFormation is a significant advantage.
