We are currently looking for a mid-level Backend Engineer to join our team in a hybrid capacity, with the flexibility to work from any location.

Key outcomes

• Collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers to design and implement robust backend solutions.
• Identify and resolve software defects efficiently to minimize technical debt.
• Enhance our backend architecture by focusing on performance, security, and overall system reliability.
• Integrate our services with external platforms through the use of APIs.
• Participate in automated testing initiatives to ensure high code quality and comprehensive test coverage.
• Build, maintain, and improve our existing microservices, primarily utilizing Golang.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in server-side programming, with a preference for Golang and a focus on writing maintainable, testable code.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically ElasticSearch and Cassandra.
• Technical proficiency working within a Linux environment.
• Practical experience utilizing AWS tools and infrastructure features.
• A product-oriented mindset, with a proven ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional user experience.
• The ability to weigh the trade-offs of various engineering solutions, prioritizing pragmatic results over theoretical perfection.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a genuine eagerness to learn new technologies.
