We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in Romania. At Showpad, we provide the world’s leading Enablement Operating System, helping sales and marketing teams align through impactful content and measurable engagement. Responsibilities

Take full ownership of your projects, from designing and implementing complex architectures to maintaining services within a you-build-it-you-own-it philosophy.
Collaborate closely with product and design teams to develop innovative features, such as intelligent content insights, transcriptions, and identity management solutions.
Participate actively in an autonomous team environment, where you will help shape technical direction, establish team habits, and solve challenging engineering problems.

Requirements

Extensive experience as a backend engineer focused on building scalable, production-ready systems.
Proficiency in TypeScript, Kotlin, or Java.
Strong background in designing APIs and working with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS services like S3, Lambda, and RDS.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
A deep commitment to test-driven development and a mindset oriented toward continuous integration and delivery.
Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively within our global team.
