Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Cash team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based out of our offices in Toronto, Denver, or the Cayman Islands. You will be working in a high-impact environment where you can collaborate across our global locations, with the flexibility to work from any of our offices or take advantage of our remote work policy for four weeks each year.

Your impact

Design and maintain high-performance backend systems using Golang or Python to support our core products.
Take ownership of PostgreSQL database management to ensure our systems remain scalable and secure.
Collaborate with our frontend team to integrate blockchain functionalities and optimize our infrastructure via AWS and DevOps pipelines.

What you'll need

At least 3 years of professional experience in backend development with a strong command of Golang or Python.
Deep expertise in managing relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
A solid grasp of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices like CI/CD and containerization.
A passion for Web3 and blockchain technology, with a desire to contribute to the evolution of decentralized applications.
Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to solve complex technical problems in a collaborative team setting.
