The role
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a 100% remote position open to candidates located in Poland or across Eastern Europe. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our product, working alongside a highly experienced engineering team that values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.
Core responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, reusable, and observable code using Python to build performant, low-latency applications.
- Collaborate closely with our Product, Research, and Design teams to translate user requirements into scalable software features.
- Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, performance tuning, and implementing security by design.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should bring the following expertise:
- Proven experience as a Python developer within a SaaS or product-led environment.
- Strong proficiency in designing and developing REST web services.
- Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and operational best practices.
- Experience with Docker, FastAPI, Django, and Golang.
- Familiarity with database solutions including PostgreSQL, Redshift, and DynamoDB.
- A deep commitment to modern development practices such as Trunk Based Development, Continuous Delivery, and TDD.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
