We are Composer, and we are building a no-code platform that empowers anyone to design, test, and deploy automated investment strategies without needing to write code. As we continue to grow with the support of our top-tier venture investors, we are looking for a senior backend engineer to join our team. What you'll be doing
- You will take ownership of designing and constructing essential components of our technical infrastructure.
- You will collaborate directly with our executive leadership to shape our long-term technical architecture and strategy.
- You will oversee the maintenance and optimization of our core trading and backtesting server systems.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a technical leader who is eager to mentor others and help us grow our engineering culture. You should be comfortable navigating uncertainty and making informed decisions to move our product forward. Your background should include:
- Extensive experience working as a backend developer.
- A strong interest in Clojure and functional programming paradigms.
- Solid expertise in database design and cloud platforms, specifically within a Google Cloud Platform environment.
- The ability to pick up new concepts rapidly and apply them to complex engineering challenges.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively across our team.
