We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team at Fluix, a B2B workflow automation platform and subsidiary of Readdle. Since 2007, Readdle has been a leader in personal productivity on Apple devices, and at Fluix, we continue that legacy by helping global organizations like Siemens, BMW, and Roche Farma achieve operational excellence through our powerful automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Drive backend development by building new features and improving existing architecture.
- Collaborate with our frontend, iOS, and Android teams to ensure smooth product integration.
- Lead refactoring initiatives to boost performance, readability, and long-term code quality.
- Write reliable unit tests to maintain high standards of code stability.
- Participate in technical grooming, task estimation, and prioritization.
- Engage in code reviews and technical discussions to foster team growth.
- Manage infrastructure enhancements and participate in on-call rotations to resolve urgent issues.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of experience in a backend engineering role.
- Strong expertise in PHP and the Symfony framework.
- Practical experience with profiling and debugging tools such as Xdebug or Blackfire.
- Solid understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and IAM.
- Experience with Kubernetes and serverless architectures.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, including frameworks like ExpressJS or NestJS.
- Deep knowledge of software design patterns, clean code practices, and Domain-Driven Design.
- Professional fluency in English.
