With over 300,000 treatments delivered annually across 38 states, we are pioneers in the field of psychedelic medicine. We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our remote-first team. In this full-time role, you will help us scale our infrastructure, improve our development velocity, and build the next generation of life-changing digital health tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust APIs that power our web and mobile applications.
- Develop scalable backend systems and optimize performance to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
- Enhance our engineering efficiency by improving automation, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should be a seasoned engineer with a strong command of modern development practices and a passion for our mission. Our tech stack is built on Python and Django with Postgres databases, all hosted on AWS. Experience with React Native is also highly relevant to our ecosystem. You should be comfortable working in a remote-first, asynchronous environment where writing and intellectual honesty are core to how we operate. We value developers who act as stewards of their codebase, possess a strong bias for action, and are eager to leverage AI-driven workflows to solve complex problems.
What we offer
