What is this role?
We are seeking a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in India, requiring you to work from the office at least three days per week. You will be instrumental in building the core components of our platform, working with modern technologies to ensure our banking services are reliable, secure, and scalable.
What will you do?
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software features while ensuring our infrastructure remains scalable and performant.
- Collaborate closely with product management and design teams within an Agile environment to translate business goals into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion engineering best practices, including rigorous testing, code quality, and system architecture improvements.
What makes you a great fit?
You should have 2 to 4 years of experience in a fast-paced or hyper-growth startup environment. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of system design and architecture who can build cost-effective solutions that support rapid customer growth. You must be comfortable working across our tech stack, which includes Node.js, Go, React, GraphQL, Docker, and PostgreSQL. Excellent English communication skills are essential, as you will need to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. If you have experience with Nest.JS or a strong interest in evaluating new technologies to keep our stack modern, you will be a fantastic addition to our team.
