About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will play a vital role in our effort to consolidate disparate insurance workflows into one seamless application. Your primary mission is to automate the manual, costly, and often inaccurate processes of medical billing. By joining us, you will help set new industry standards for how billing is handled, ensuring our platform remains fast, reliable, and high-quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python.
• Develop and deploy Robotic Process Automations to streamline our business operations and reduce manual labor.
• Collaborate with our product managers, frontend engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who brings deep technical expertise and a patient approach to solving complex domain problems. Your background should include:

• At least 4 years of professional experience in backend engineering.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and modern web frameworks like Django or FastAPI.
• Strong command of database design, SQL, and ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy.
• Experience working with task queues like RabbitMQ and containerization tools like Docker.
• A solid understanding of CI/CD principles and agile development.
• The ability to be available online between 14:00 and 16:30 UTC.
