Luno is a global crypto investment platform dedicated to making digital assets accessible and secure for everyone. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain distributed microservices that serve our global user base of 10 million customers.
Design and build advanced application services while ensuring high performance and reliability.
Work alongside cross-functional teams to conceptualize and ship new product features.
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code to support the robustness of our platform.
Address bugs and optimize application performance to enhance the user experience.
Contribute to solutions that directly impact our users, our company, and the broader Bitcoin ecosystem.

Must-haves

Strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Extensive experience in backend development, with a preference for Go.
A degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and learning.
Excellent communication skills and a transparent, collaborative approach to teamwork.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Familiarity with our core technology stack, including Kubernetes, Docker, MySQL, and Redis.
Experience using monitoring and CI/CD tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Cloudwatch, and Jenkins.
Knowledge of infrastructure and networking tools like Cloudflare.
