What you'll be doing

• You will collaborate with a motivated team of developers to build and scale our web-based infrastructure, as well as our internal insurance and security tools.
• You will write robust, well-tested code for a cloud-based environment while taking full ownership of your work to ensure our systems run smoothly.
• You will tackle complex software challenges and communicate openly with your peers to deliver high-quality features that support our international operations.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in backend development and a passion for solving difficult problems. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a backend engineer using Python, Java, or Go.
• Essential knowledge of cyber security and networking principles.
• Proven experience developing RESTful APIs and working within cloud production environments like AWS.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
• An advantage if you have experience with event-based architectures like Kafka, Kinesis, or SNS/SQS.
