We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team and help build the systems that serve as the brains behind our customer-facing applications.

Role at a glance

We are seeking a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position based in our San Francisco office, where you will work directly alongside senior leadership and cross-functional teams to design and scale our core infrastructure.

What you'll need

We value clear communication as much as clean code. You should be comfortable simplifying complex problems and balancing technical trade-offs to meet our goals. Our ideal candidate brings the following:

• 2 to 4 years of professional engineering experience.
• Expertise in object-oriented programming using Java, Kotlin, or Python.
• Strong experience building distributed systems and working with transactional databases.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, Spring Boot, Flask, Google PubSub, Postgres, BigQuery, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• A strong sense of ownership and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in English.

Perks and compensation

For this position in California, the salary range is $100,000 to $130,000. Individual compensation is determined based on your unique skills, experience, and relevant training. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and professional growth.
